Effective security management, in its essence, should mean a support for the “Continuity of Business” rather than the blocking of business wise activities due to the security regulations.

Iran nuclear deal ‘’neither fully fixed nor fully nixed’’

After years of tension over its alleged efforts to develop a nuclear weapon- Iran insisted that its nuclear program was entirely peaceful- in 2015 Iran had to agree on a long-term deal with the P5+1 group of world powers namely U.S., UK, France, China, Russia and Germany on its nuclear program in return for the lifting of crippling economic sanctions.

Under the accord, Iran agreed to limit its sensitive nuclear activities and allowed international inspectors according the commitments which are set out in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

By calling it "decaying and rotten," President Trump signed a presidential memorandum on May 8th, 2018 and announced that he is pulling out the U.S. from the Iran-nuclear deal. Moreover he pledged that a restoration of harsh sanctions aiming at restricting Iran's capacity to sell oil or conduct other overseas business is on the way and warned other countries to refrain from helping the Iranian government anyhow.

The effects of Trump's decision leaving the Iran nuclear deal, would be detrimental to Iran's economy by cutting its oil exports in half -Iran is the third-biggest OPEC producer, produces about 3.8 million barrels per day (bpd), or about 4 percent of the world’s oil supplies- and effectively sever it off from the rest of the global financial system and would be suffered not only by Iran but also globally.

Behind the declaration of other 5+1 countries to pursue the accord contrary to U.S. decision, lies the truth not to endanger Billions of dollars of deals signed by international companies with Iran, which are under threat due to the US president’s announcement and pledged restoration of looming harsh sanctions on Iran.

From the political point of view this decision might bode a bigger crack in NATO and heightened geopolitical risks in the region especially if Iran retaliates against the recent missile attacks of Israel. DRK consider that this may harm the stability of the region and ignite a state to state war replacing the proxy wars in the region.

Security is an interdisciplinary area, the tools of which extend definitely beyond the scope of employment of Security Personnel and CCTV systems.
